Today

Pondering: The Celtic saints remind us that we are “keeping house amidst a cloud of witnesses.” We in our own day, going about our daily tasks, are yet surrounded in our nice little safe and ordinary households by that greater household and company, the company of the kingfolk of heaven. – Esther DeWaal (The Celtic Way of Prayer)

    Dear Sarah,
I was just over at your blessed mom’s blog leaving a comment and since I told her how much I love your blog I thought I should just hop over here and also tell you myself. I literally get giddy with excitement when I see that you or your mom has posted something. Who could’ve guessed I would see something new here this very morning! You are such a sweet young lady and your writings create such beautiful pictures and ideas in my mind. As a homeschooling mom of four under 11 it’s easy to let the day take you away with all of it’s responsibilities. Reading your words always serves as a refocus on beauty and ideals and what I really want to give my children. You and your sweet mom are such a blessing to so many of us. This Christmas I even bought a 2 CD set of Celtic Christmas music, under your influence….it was beautiful! Thanks again for sharing your gift with us!
    Blessings to you!

  2. I liked how in this post you show yourself being surrounded with something good to see, hear, and fill your mind with. I especially like those lovely “jewels” hanging over your window!
